Børns Vilkår is behind the childrens helpline 'BørneTelefonen', which offers children counselling and comfort from adults. Every day, all year round, volunteer counsellors are ready to listen and advise children and young people in Denmark about their problems, big and small. Together with them, we developed talkiing in 2012 based on their concrete needs, and today they use it daily to offer advice through multiple channels.

The Center for Digital Pedagogy has, through the use of a chat solution, got more than 25 municipalities and organizations started with a digital pedagogical effort, which enables a quick and flexible contact with local children and young people in vulnerable and exposed positions.

For example, one of our counsellors talked to a 12-year-old girl who was so happy that we opened this SMS counselling service. She wanted to contact us for a long time, but she didn't dare call, and she couldn't use the computers at school either. But with SMS counselling, she could now talk to us.
